Cancellation Policy

1. Free Cancellation Window

Guests may cancel their reservation free of charge up to 48 hours (2 days) before the scheduled check‑in time (standard check‑in: 12:00 PM IST). The full advance amount will be refunded, minus any payment gateway transaction fees, if applicable.

2. Late Cancellation

For cancellations made within 48 hours of the check‑in date, a cancellation charge equal to 50% of the total booking amount will be deducted from the advance payment. The remaining balance, if any, will be refunded.

3. No‑Show Policy

In case of a no‑show (failure to arrive without prior cancellation), the full advance amount will be forfeited and no refund will be provided.

4. Early Departure

If a guest decides to check out earlier than the confirmed departure date, the remaining nights will be charged in full unless the early departure is due to an emergency or unavoidable circumstance, in which case the management will review the situation at its discretion.

5. Refund Processing

Refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days from the date of cancellation confirmation. The amount will be credited back to the original payment method used during booking.

6. Force Majeure

In the event of natural disasters, political unrest, or other force majeure situations that prevent travel, Peace Valley Resort Rumtek will offer a full refund or a date change without any penalty, subject to verification of the situation.

7. Group & Event Bookings

Separate cancellation terms apply for group bookings (more than 5 rooms) and event/conference hall reservations. These will be communicated at the time of booking.
